Wonderful - I have loved Frye boots for some time and am now enjoying their shoes. The leather is always superior as well as the craftsmanship. When I put them on they take only minutes to conform to my feet. That is the way it was with this version of Frye flats also (I also purchased the flats with a harness ring). I love them and have worn them a lot in the month I have had them. They are just what I wanted in a versatile flat black shoe.

Good quality - I was skeptical they’d be too stiff and uncomfortable. I was pleased they fit great, and the leather was very soft. I�m an 8.5 and kind of narrow; they fit perfect. If a ballet w/ a bow is not quite you’re style, but you want a stylish flat that fits with today’s “looks”…you may like this. One thing: the pieces of leather kind of peel up…and need some glue. I sent the first pair back, but the second had the same problem. So I�ve decided to just glue them carefully. Awesome shoe! Amazingly soft leather in foot bed. I�m sure they will break in perfectly and mold to the foot.

3rd time the charm - I debated for over a year about these clogs…loved them at 1st sight at another site (which charges tax and shipping). Then I saw them at Zappos. They do run large. I am a 7.5 normally so I order the 7 too large then went to 6.5 still to large….then bingo…6 even with room for socks. I have never had clogs before…because to me they looked rather ugly….yet I longed for the comfort of just slipping in and out! So this year when I saw them in my favorite shoe store “ZAPPO’S”, I took the chance….this is one case where the free shipping really paid off big time or should I say 3 times….Thank for a great shoe and great service. Frye belted harness mule - Comfy right out of the box ordered my usual size. I find they fit more snugly w/ heavier socks. More comfortable than the harness boots of the same size. Wear these w/ boot cut jeans, so cool looking!

Thanks to others reviews, I ordered a half size down. They fit perfectly and they need no breaking in time. I wore them on an all day shopping trip the day after I received them and they were so comfortable. I wear them everyday!!! Another great shoe from Frye Anna Mary Jane Flat Shoes.

Fabulous- I was concerned about breaking them in because I have bunions but having the famous Frye quality I was able wear them right out of the box with thin socks and shop for several hours with NO problem! Must try them for yourself! Made to Mosey- These are terrific all-purpose, butt-kicking mules. The cool, slightly tough-girl look of Frye boots without the putting-them-on-and-taking-them-off struggle. Although they feel VERY heavy in your hand, on the foot they’re comfy. I found the fit is true, but you may want to wear a substantial sock with them for added fit. Great shoes. Have the boots in two colors so had to have the mules. True to size, comfortable, wore them shopping for hours right out of the box! They live up to Frye’s excellent standards of quality and Zappos has the best price around.

One cool mule- These mules are about as cool as it gets. They feel about as great as they look. If you wore Frye�s before, you will be used to how they walk. I just love them! I spent hours in them shopping and they still felt comfortable. And I have spurs in my 50-year-old feet. They have the perfect height in the heel and the quality of the workmanship is exceptional. I forgot how good a boot Frye makes. And then there is the style… Ah.

I took a chance & ordered the available 9.5, a half size smaller then my Harness boots, and they are still too big..SO DIASPPOINTED because they look GREAT..they just don’t stay on my foot, and I have a substantial foot; I don’t know if size 9 would do it, either; it may be that across the instep is a bit wide. Waiting for my size 10!! I tried the harness boot at Nordstrom. I had been on the lookout for Frye boots for 20+ years since I outgrew my old campus boots (B.C. …before children)…and I fell in love with it and bought it immediately, regardless of the price…now that I have discovered Zappos, I just ordered another Harness boot in the lilac color..it doesn’t look too pinkish or purplish in the photo, so I am hoping it is a bit neutral, but I like the more neutral colors anyway. I also ordered a lug boot that the reviews all raved about..Fryes are the boot to stand the test of time..they are so well made..when needed, Frye Anna Mary Jane Shoes. I will resole them before retiring them, as they are so classic and look so cool with jeans, either tucked in or with boot cut legs, and I would even wear them with a skirt (mid-calf to long)..I am hoping that this mule will become available in a size 10..there were only small sizes. I now see the 9 1/2 but I am afraid that will be too small..maybe I will try one pair, since you don’t have to pull on a high legged boot, the smaller size could work…wish me luck..I love Fryes, and I love Zappos..

Adorable alternative to a full boot on those days where your legs may get too hot (summer.) If you have normal width or long toes I would stick to your normal size instead of downsizing. My pinky’s were too squished. Zappos is wonderful with returns and they have great helpful staff. They even called me on the phone! I will always shop with them. They always make it pleasurable

strut your stuff……. These mules are awesome! I’m from the Frye Boot era and so putting these on was like going back in time! They are sturdy, comfortable and have a great attitude! I was thrilled with the great customer service this site offers. I ordered my first pair a half size smaller because the reviews said they ran large…..they were wrong in my case……I reordered in my normal size and they were at my door shortly thereafter! Great shoe! I have tried to find a mule like this for a long time. Needing a wide width, or so i thought until I tried the Frye mule. It fits great! I wear an 11 wide with a high arch and was concerned about fit… not to worry! This slipped right on and was comfortable from the first wearing. Even my high instep was accommodated! What a pleasure to get the look and comfort in one shoe!

I love these Frye�s- Yes, it is true, it takes a good 3 times of wearing the boots, but they do break in and they are great. Definitely buy a half size smaller that you usually wear. DO NOT freak out if they do not match each other perfectly, they are so comfortable… I LOVE them.

Beautiful, well-made shoe, but pinches my pinkies! I love the style of this boot, but considered exchanging it for a 1/2 size bigger, since my little toes felt very squished on the sides (I have large toes). I apparently got the last pair in stock that was not a 9, so I either keep them and suffer thru breaking them in or return them and have no mules.
The inside lining is deerskin, though, so I think they will soften up. I am impressed with the workmanship- just as good as the big Frye�s. The non-slip sole is a nice touch too. Great all year round shoe, and nice for me, who lives in NY and Texas. Love the look - They look fantastic on!! I feel taller in them and look terrific too. The only thing I find is that the toe area is a bit scrunchy. I think when the wearing in has taken effect, they’ll be even better.

These shoes and Zappos are great! Great shoes! So comfortable and easier to get into and out of than the boots. Other reviews indicated these shoes felt larger than sized, but I found that my usual size fit fine. This was my first time ordering from Zappos, and I am very pleased with this site. 110% price protection… and my shoes were here in two days!
